Welcome to the Alterra Home Owners Association website.  The purpose of this website is to give current Alterra homeowners and prospective Alterra homeowners information about our community. 

Upcoming Events

Community Cleanup
We now have the approval from the city to begin cleaning up some of the abandoned properties here in Alterra.  We are looking for volunteers to help out on June 21st.  We will be meeting at the park on Woody Rd in Alterra South at 5:30am and hope to have all of the homes completed by 10:00am.  The city will be providing the supplies and we will ensure that refreshments will be present.  Hopefully we will have a large turn out so the cleanup process won't take too long.

HOA Meeting
Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm.  Our next meeting is June 18th.  Meetings are held at Maricopa Elementary.  Please visit the Calendar page for the dates of future meetings.

Special Notes

  • Congratulations to Rick Mueller!  Rick was elected to the HOA Board of Directors at the Annual Board Meeting in May.
  • During the last HOA meeting we discussed a weed that if left on it's own looks very much like a tree.  If you happen to have any Saltcedar plants growing in your yard you will want to pick them as soon as possible.  This weed wraps it's roots around the roots of neighboring plants and kills them.
  • If you know of a vacant home with a pool please contact the Pinal County Health Inspector at (520)836-5931. 
  • Not everyone is aware of this but those homeowners with corner lots are responsible for the upkeep of the areas to the side of their property, this includes where the mailboxes are located.
  • There is a curfew for children under the age of 18.  If you see children past curfew in Alterra please contact the Maricopa Police Department.   Please follow the link for more details.
  • Most of all we'd like to thank the many residents that come to the board meetings.  We truly appreciate your input, and we hope that you encourage your neighbors to join you.  If you are unable to attend the meetings, please contact the board via email.
