Welcome to the Alterra Home Owners Association website.  The purpose of this website is to give current Alterra homeowners and prospective Alterra homeowners information about our community. 

Upcoming Events

Thank you to everyone that attended the September 17th board meeting.  For those of you that were unable to attend the meeting we voted to keep the fountain off for the rest of the year to cut back on expenses.

Community Cleanup
The community cleanup on June 21st was a huge success!  Thank you to everyone that volunteered and especially to H&N Landscaping, Four Peaks Landscape, and Brian Duncan for all of their help.  Without them we would have been sweating in the sun all day.  Instead, after only a few hours of hard work, we were able to clean up more than 20 properties in Alterra.

HOA Meeting
Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm.  Our next meeting is October 15th.  Meetings are held at Maricopa Elementary.  Please visit the Calendar page for the dates of future meetings.

Special Notes

  • I received an email earlier today concerning a found dog.  Please look at the pictures provided.  If anyone knows whose dog this is please let me know so I can forward the information to the person who found the dog.  Thank you.
  • Thank you to Nicole Dailey and Brian Duncan for attending our last meeting.  If you are interested in more information regarding Copa Cares please contact Brian Duncan at brian.duncan@maricopa-az.gov or (520)316-6989.
  • Just a quick note.  One of the major reasons for blown over trees during the monsoon storms is over growth.  Thinning out the canopy's will allow air to flow through more freely and will help to prevent breakage.
  • There has been an update to the architectural guidelines.  To view the updated guidelines please follow the link above.
  • Thank you to Rick Mueller and Chad Krueger for joining the Alterra HOA board.  Rick was voted on to the board at the May HOA meeting and Chad was brought in to fill our empty Vice President position.
  • Keep an eye out for Saltcedar plants growing in your yard.  These weeds like to wrap their roots around the roots of neighboring plants and will eventually kill them.
  • If you know of a vacant home with a pool please contact the Pinal County Health Inspector at (520)836-5931. 
  • Not everyone is aware of this but those homeowners with corner lots are responsible for the upkeep of the areas to the side of their property, this includes where the mailboxes are located.
  • There is a curfew for children under the age of 18.  If you see children past curfew in Alterra please contact the Maricopa Police Department.   Please follow the link for more details.
  • Most of all we'd like to thank the many residents that come to the board meetings.  We truly appreciate your input, and we hope that you encourage your neighbors to join you.  If you are unable to attend the meetings, please contact the board via email.
